Questions Regarding Combines

 

1. How must does a combine cost?

One Day Combines cost $125.

 

2. Where do I register for a combine?

3. Can anybody attend a combine?

Combines are open for 9th-12th graders looking to play collegiate ball.

 

4. How do I receive a refund if I can no longer attend?

You can purchase the cancellation protection while registering to guarantee a full refund. If you don't, you can receive a credit that is good for 1 year to transfer into any event.

 

5. What colleges will be attending?

Colleges attending are listed on the registration page. This list is subject to change based off of colleges availability.

 

6. How do I add on a video or second position eval once already registred?

At the door you can add on additional purchases.

 

7. Where do my stats and video go after the event?

Stats are emailed out to every college in the U.S. Stats & videos are posted to www.collegescoutingbureau.net under Active Athletes. 

 

8. How long does it take to receive my video?

3-4 weeks from the event. They are posted to your profile.

 

9. What happens if it rains?

An email will be sent out either the day before or morning of for the indoor location change. We do not cancel.

 

10. Can a location change?

A location can change if the site becomes no longer available due to unforseen circumstances. We will update you on location changes if this happen.

 

11. If you have a credit, how do you apply it?

Questions Regarding Select Team

 

1. How much does it cost?

To register you pay a $200 deposit. From there the price depends on which event you choose to attend (listed on the Tournament Select Team Page). The deposit reserves your spot till you select & are ready to pay for your event.

 

2. What colleges attend?

Each event has new coaches attending from that region. Coaches attending are added to the National Team info page as they commit. They are subject to change based off of availability. 

 

3. What happens if the tournament gets rained out?

We will have plan B in place to still give players exposure in front of college coaches that weekend.

 

4. How many players to a team?

We carry no more than 15 players per team.

 

5. How are teams formed?

Teams are divided by position. This guarantees playing time in your positions.

 

6. How many games per weekend?

These are actual tournaments we are in. Each event varies. Typically it is minimum of 3. 

 

7. Are there practices?

Some events have a combine the night before and players have an option to attend. Otherwise, there is no practices as players are from across the U.S.

 

8. Who is on our team?

Players that got selected from one of the combines they attended. 

 

9. Do you have the same teammates each event?

Players can choose to attend as many events as they want, you will have new teammates each event.

 

10. Do players need to room with teammates?

Players who attend solo will room with other players attending solo. Players attending with family stay with their family.

 

11. Are rooms blocked off?

Some tournaments make mandatory hotels to stay at. These will be listed. Otherwise families can choose where to stay. Suggestions will be listed.

 

12. Do we receive a new jersey each event?

You wear the same jersey the entire season.

 

13. What bottoms do we wear?

Softball wears black pants and black socks. Baseball wears white pants and high school/travel hat.

 

14. When do we receive the schedule?

Schedules come out the week of from the tournament director. Once we receive them we send these out.

 

15. Do players cover travel/lodging?

Yes, players are in charge of their own travel and lodging. 

 

16. Do you have to attend all of the events?

You can choose 1+ events. You do not need to attend all. 

 

17. Does it take you from your travel team?

This team is not made to take you from your travel team. It is giving you another opportunity to be with college coaches, hands on, in game format. You can still do your personal travel teams while a part of the National Team.

 

18. Are you automatically on the team the following year?
